Accenture and The Phoenix Partnership have started implementing an electronic patient record system across nine healthcare enterprises in the U.K. with the goal of helping clinicians to exchange and access health information.
Phase one of the SystmOne EPR system has been deployed for National Health Service organizations in the Southern Community and Child Health Procurement consortium, Accenture announced Wednesday.
The Dorset Healthcare University NGS Foundation Trust is the first to full launch the SystmOne platform, which is used by more 500 clinicians.
“This digital health system will help support community and child health service providers across southern England,” said Aimie Chapple, managing director of Accenture’s U.K.health business, who added the company also aims to add a new mobile capability.
Accenture and the TPP are scheduled to roll out SystmOne in broader community teams over the next few months.
