Acentia subsidiary ITSolutions has won a five-year, $5 million contract to provide information assurance support to the Defense Department‘s medical enterprise.
ITSolutions will work with the Military Health System to manage and evaluate the use of ports, protocols and services across DoD’s medical information systems, Acentia said Thursday.
The PPS management program works to filter network traffic and secure communications within the department, Acentia says.
MHS’ Enterprise Infrastructure Directorate awarded the contract to the Acentia business unit.
The subsidiary will also interpret PPS guidance and assess its impact to infrastructure, system design and architecture requirements.
