BMC Software, Macquarie Telecom Form Cloud IT Service Partnership; Chip Salyards Comments

Cloud Computing, ExecutiveBizBMC Software has partnered with Macquarie Telecom to launch a cloud-based information technology service management offering for enterprise clients in Australia, AZoSensors reported Thursday.

Macquarie will offer a BMC business application suite from Macquarie’s data center located in Canberra through the alliance, according to the report.

Chip Salyards, vice president and general manager of BMC’s Asia Pacific business, says the service is intended to help customers access features, technology and best practices, the report states.

The article notes BMC’s Remedy OnDemand platform works to integrate IT processes in the cloud and help organizations manage business-critical events and minimize risks.
