Cisco and the New York Academy of Science have enlisted two new partners into a program that promotes science, technology, engineering and mathematics through curriculum resources and research to students worldwide.
New partners of The Global STEM Alliance are the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina and the State University of New York, the Cisco announced Monday.
The country of Malaysia and the city of Barcelona were announced as members of the alliance during the Internet of Things World Forum in Barcelona Oct. 29.
According to Cisco, the Global STEM Alliance works to link the academy’s local programs with online platforms worldwide.
The program based on the jointly-operated Afterschool STEM and Mentoring Program by SUNY and the academy.
