Dell and lifeIMAGE have partnered to help a Colorado-based community healthcare provider deploy a medical technology for clinicians to access and share diagnostic imaging data.
Aspen Valley Hospital selected lifeIMAGE’s medical image and information sharing platform for integration with Dell’s Unified Clinical Archive platform, Dell said Thursday.
The hospital already uses the cloud-based Dell infrastructure to manage and store 25,000 patient radiologic findings annually, Dell says.
Andrew Litt, chief medical officer at Dell Healthcare and Life Sciences, said the integrated product will work to help providers avoid repeat diagnostic scans and eliminate data silos.
According to Dell, lifeIMAGE technology works to help physicians and patients view patient imaging information on a computer or a mobile device.
Dell intends for its platform to address disaster recovery issues by making two copies of each diagnostic image at separate geographic locations.
