Christian Jahrling is a vice president and general manager of Turner Construction Company‘s federal services division, located in the Washington D.C. office.
He is responsible for the day-to-day management of the firm with particular focus on the technical and contractual aspects of government, commercial and healthcare projects.
Prior to his current role, the 25-year company veteran led Turner’s government services division.
Under his leadership, Turner installed 447 baggage screening equipment at all U.S. airports under a TSA national design-build contract.
In this role, he also led the federal construction practice in working with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, General Services Administration, and Naval Facilities Engineering Command.
Turner has experience as the general manager of Turner’s Detroit offices, overseeing projects including the Green Bay Packer’s Lambeau Field renovations, Comerica Ball Park-home of the Detroit Tigers and the General Motors headquarters renovations.
