MITRE has introduced a community-based resource website in an initiative aimed at helping researchers collaborate and share ideas on developing enterprise architectures.
The organization created the Enterprise Architecture Body of Knowledge site out of its “Guide to the (Evolving) Enterprise Architecture Body of Knowledge” document, MITRE said Friday.
“The new EABOK will ‘bring the world to bear’ with a community-based governance structure,” said Lou Metzger, fellow and corporate chief engineer at MITRE.
Metzger added the website is designed to house content from the enterprise architecture community and will be available to EA students and practitioners at all levels.
MITRE plans to consolidate methodologies, research and EA profession perspectives and knowledge in EABOK.
The EABOK Consortium, a MITRE-led organization for senior EA heads, will manage and review content and structure of the site.
Enterprise architects work to analyze company structures and resource exchanges to help meet strategic and business goals.
