QinetiQ North America has won a position on a potential seven-year contract to provide information technology services to help the Department of Homeland Security meet security and communications goals.
The company will conduct the work under the EAGLE II unrestricted service delivery track for functional category two for a base period of five years and one two-year option, QNA said Thursday.
QNA will compete for task orders involving software design and development; maintenance and management support; and systems development, integration and implementation.
John Sutton, general manager of mission solutions at QinetiQ North America, said the contract award is meant to build on a 30-year partnership with the agency.
“DHS has entrusted our experts to help improve its network, communications and security infrastructure, and this award enables our team to continue to support DHS missions going forward,” Sutton added.
