RSA has certified a Bitzer Mobile enterprise mobility platform for interoperability with an RSA two-factor authentication system under a technology alliance program.
The companies formed a partnership that intends for offerings from EMC‘s security division and Bitzer to help organizations in highly-regulated industries secure data access on mobile devices, Bitzer said Monday.
Chad Loeven, RSA director of partnerships, said the product compatibility intends to address security issues in enterprise bring-your-own-device initiatives.
Bitzer’s BEAM platform works to isolate corporate files and applications from employees’ personal applications on tablets and smartphones, the company says.
BEZM is built to integrate with Windows’ single sign-on feature and encryption technology in order for information technology personnel to control how mobile data is shared and stored across the enterprise.
