Battelle has won a three-year contract of an undisclosed value to provide threat intelligence services to an unnamed international financial institution.
The nonprofit research and development organization will work with the client’s security personnel to analyze and identify location-based and cyber threats globally, the company said Monday.
“As technology innovations continue at a rapid pace, consumer and business financial transactions are changing too,” said Ernest Hampson, technical director for Battelle’s cyber intelligence and counterintelligence group.
Hampson added the company works to help businesses protect customers’ information and assets.
Battelle will also provide intelligence in order for the bank to manage risks posed by an outage or unauthorized physical access to its facilities.
