Chris Balcik has been appointed the deputy manager of Camber Corp.’s missions support group and the vice president of business development.
An enterprise architecture and engineering veteran, Balcik joins Camber from Booz Allen Hamilton’s Justice and Homeland Security account, Camber announced Monday.
During his time at Booz Allen, the 20-year industry veteran led the civil aviation decision analytics business and served as technical director of the systems engineering contract.
“Camber focuses on highly talented personnel and Chris’ decades of experience in national defense make him a solid fit for us and what we set out to accomplish,” said John Lord, Camber president.
“Chris’ years working on complex, large-scale systems engineering and technology transformations, program management, business case analysis, and process optimization complement our mission areas,” Lord added.
Balcik also served for nine years as a commissioned U.S. Air Force officer and eight years as a reservist.
Earlier this month, Rebecca Garcia was also named a VP of BD at Camber.
