Dennis Bowden, a 26-year veteran of the CIA, has been appointed to serve as a director of the corporate business development unit at LMI.
Bowden will help lead the nonprofit consulting firm’s work with agencies in the the intelligence community, LMI announced Thursday.
He also serves as an adjuct professor in Missouri State University’s Department of Defense and Strategic Studies.
His work at the CIA encompassed areas such as policy creation, program development, analytic tradecraft and integration of technical collection systems and analysis.
He joined Booz Allen Hamilton after retiring from the CIA and worked in the firm’s analytics capability area for civil and security markets, focusing on the CIA and national intelligence director’s office.
Bowden holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies from Bradley University and master’s degree in political science from Indiana University.
