Norm Laudermilch is responsible for engineering, management and operations of the worldwide infrastructure at Terremark Federal as chief operating officer
He has served in the role since August 2011 and holds more than two decades of technical and executive level experience in computer operating systems, cloud computing, data center design, construction and operations, satellite communications, and networking.
Laudermilch has authored pieces on information technology security threats for 150 newspapers, trade publications and magazines.
He has also helped to programs related to cybersecurity, firewall architecture deployment and management, disaster planning and response and physical security mechanisms.
Prior to joining Terremark, he served as chief technology officer at Trust Digital, a vice president at Symantec, a VP at Verisign and global director of information security at UUNeT/MCI WorldCom.
He is a co-founder of the Internet SecurityAdvisors Group and also a co-founder of the Internet Service Provider Security Working Group.
