FireEye has launched a continuous monitoring platform that aims to help small- and mid-sized businesses secure their web, mobile and email systems.
Oculus is built to protect data and infrastructure by blocking web security exploits or multi-protocol callbacks, FireEye said Thursday.
A Verizon study found that SMBs were a prime target for 77 percent of cyberattacks last year, according to FireEye.
Manish Gupta, FireEye senior vice president of products, said the company designed Oculus to help customers identify advanced persistent threats.
The platform also works to provide users industry-specific threat information and alert users when a computer does not pass remote system health checks, FireEye says.
