Informatica has earned “champion” status in an annual report that gauges data integration product strength in the marketplace.
The research group gave points for the company’s all-in-one products, and highlighted Informatica’s Vibe virtual data machine that helps accelerate projects.
“Virtual tables can be instantly reused graphically for physical data and vice versa,” it said.
Ash Kulkarni, senior vice president and general manager for data integration at Informatica said the company works to “help customers address today’s key data integration challenges, from big data to cloud connectivity, and from data quality to data privacy.”
As champion, the company belongs to the upper-right quadrant of the Info-Tech Research Group’s Data Integration Tools Vendor Landscape for the second consecutive year, Informatica said Monday.
Informatica has more than 20 years of experience in data integration, according to the report, adding that the company offers a feature-rich platform and a variety of deployment options.
