Pratt & Whitney will start providing F100 engine overhaul services at the site in the first quarter of 2014.
Tom Bode, general manager at Pratt & Whitney’s Columbus Engine Center, said the company aims to expand its footing in the aftermarket military and commercial engine sector.
The Columbus Engine Center performs repair and maintenance work on V2500 and PW2000 engines as well as F117 engines used in C-17 Globemaster aircraft.
The engine center also offers inspection, testing and performance enhancement services.
