SAP AG has moved to expand the market reach of its predictive analytics offerings beyond data scientists to business users in an effort to help customers handle growing volumes of big data.
The InfiniteInsight service offering is built based on KXEN’s automation technology for companies to implement predictive analytics across the enterprise, SAP said Monday.
Shekhar Iyer, SAP global vice president of business intelligence and predictive analytics, said InfiniteInsight is intended to help clients analyze big data and forecast trends by combining predictive insight into applications and processes.
The predictive analytics offering features analytical data sets for automated predictive modeling, predictive models for data mining processes, scores for deploying equations to SAP HANA and other platforms and peak performance for scheduling models.
InfiniteInsight comes with SAP Predictive Analysis software for users and analysts to manage data and view results using the SAP Lumira software.
The technology also works to automate key modeling and analytical tasks.
