Skip Westfall has joined Grant Thornton LLP‘s Forensic Valuation Services practice as Forensic Technology Services managing director.
Westfall’s experience includes electronic discovery, legal hold development, data privacy and internal investigations, the company announced Tuesday.
Brad Preber, national managing partner of Grant Thornton’s Forensic and Valuation Services practice, said Westfall has almost 20 years of experience in a number of different technological areas.
Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Westfall led Alvarez & Marsal’s digital investigations office, within the Global Forensic and Disputes practice, and also served as interim chief technology officer and chief information security officer.
Westfall has also held leadership roles at Huron Consulting Group Inc., Navigant Consulting, Inc. and Fulbright & Jaworski LLP.
He is a board member of the Delta Upsilon Fraternity Education Foundation and the Houston Prospects.
