Thales Unveils Enterprise BYOD Security Offering

ThalesLogoThales has introduced a mobile telecommunications suite meant to secure sensitive information and to ensure network access for enterprise smartphones and tablets.

The Eiji is a consumption-based service built to work on public networks such as 2G/3G/4G, Wi-Fi, satellite and landline networks, Thales said Nov. 21.

The suite is designed to be customizable, to integrate professional mobile radios and cybersecurity features and to work on numerous ruggedized and standard devices.

The company also deployed mobile terminals with smartcards, additional equipment and applications meant to extend communication network access.
