iPhoneDoug Pasko has joined the board of advisors of Q Factor. where he will work with the board’s technical advisors as the company gets ready to launch its first products in the marketplace in early 2014.

Pasko currently serves as a director in the network and technology organization of Verizon, Q Factor announced Monday.

“We are fortunate to bring someone of [Pasko]’s calibre to our board of aAdvisors. His work with Verizon and its video-optimized network will be valuable to Q Factor in helping meet its goals,” said Subhash Roy, Q Factor chief executive officer.

Q Factor’s board of advisors is comprised of experts from organizations such as the MIT Media Lab, Comcast and Akamai.
