ICF, ExecutiveMosaicICF International has won five-year, $5.9 million contract to help the Environmental Protection Agency formulate and enact strategies for addressing renewable energy issues.

The company will recommend ideas and provide resources to update the agency’s programs designed to bolster energy security, control air pollution and fight climate change in the U.S., ICF said Monday.

“With more than 30 years of experience working on air quality, climate change, and clean energy issues, we are excited to continue supporting EPA in meeting emerging state and local needs in these areas,” said Anne Choate , a vice president at ICF.

The contract, won through a recompete, contains a one-year base period and four option years.
