MantechLogoA ManTech International Corp. subsidiary has refreshed its enterprise anti-virus tool for government  and other corporate users to identify and mitigate targeted computer threats.

HBGary released version 2.1 of the Responder Pro platform with the goal of helping organizations defend cyber systems against malicious rootkits and Trojan viruses, the subsidiary said Wednesday.

“With the record increase in targeted attacks in 2013, it’s no longer a question of whether your organization will be hit; it’s a matter of when,” said Frank Blackmore, a product manager at HBGary.

Blackmore added the malware detection technology is designed to extract forensics artifacts and provide threat intelligence for cybersecurity incident response.

Responder Pro’s new features include the HBGary Digital DNA behavioral analysis architecture and  FDPro memory acquisition system.

The product also works to support a variety of 32-bit and 64-bit Windows Server programs, HBGary says.
