Verizon‘s enterprise services arm will offer its cloud computing customers access to the SAP HANA platform.
SAP intends to deploy its cloud platform to customers through Verizon’s ecosystem that comprises of the eCloud, Managed Hosting and the new Verizon Cloud environments, Verizon said Wednesday.
John Harrobin, chief marketing officer for Verizon Enterprise Solutions, said the company aims for the SAP HANA platform to deliver cloud services to its clients.
“Through collaboration with leading companies such as Verizon, we intend to provide our customers with even more choices to run applications developed on SAP HANA,†added Bob Grazioli, global head of cloud ecosystem at SAP.
Verizon Cloud is currently in beta testing and was initially launched in October 2013.
