comark displayDRS Technologies has chosen Comark to be the supplier of displays and computer workstations for the repair station consoles in DDG 51 Arleigh Burke-class destroyers.

Comark has developed a 19-inch custom design for the MissionVue LCD workstations and displays with bulkhead-mount configurations and fan-less systems, Comark said Wednesday.

Keith Vreeland, Comark business development manager, said the contract win establishes a new partner in DRS and adds to Comark’s large Navy portfolio.

The design for the display was adapted from that of the DDG 51 universal control console components so that less spares will be needed, according to Comark.
