Patrick McBride, a former co-founder and CEO of META Security Group, has been appointed to serve as vice president of marketing and communications at iSIGHT Partners.
McBride will be responsible for working to grow the company’s standing in the global threat intelligence market and expand the sales pipeline, iSIGHT announced Monday.
“The next generation of security requires advanced threat intelligence as a core component of any program,” said John Watters, iSIGHT CEO.
“If we continue to rely on historic data to counter current or prospective threats, we will always be fighting yesterday’s battles,â€
A 20-year high-tech industry veteran, McBride most recently led global marketing initiatives at Xceedium.
