Big Data, AppsSoftware AG has added Terracotta’s in-memory technology into a mobile data management platform in an effort to help synchronize shared enterprise data.

Charles Greenberg, senior manager of global MDM product marketing services at Terracotta wrote in a blog post Monday that Software AG’s browser-based webMethods OneData platform is built to manage data on customer, product, locations and code sets.

Enterprise data goes through an approval process before it is stored in webMethods OneData’s physical storage for use by internal corporate end users and supply chain partners, according to Greenberg.

Terracotta intends for the addition of its in-memory to the OneData platform to deliver data to users on demand.

End users can manage data sets for product catalogues, enterprise hierarchies and data glossaries, Greenberg says.
