Cisco Vice President and Treasurer Roger Biscay has joined the DataDirect Networks board of directors, saying he saw an opportunity to help “bring about major change in the way that data is managed the web scale and HPC markets.”
The company said that the capital markets, corporate finance and “business resiliency” veteran was one of its earliest board advisors and will advise the company on long-term growth, partnerships and investment strategies.
“We are very pleased that Roger has agreed to take on a more hands-on role and join our board of directors,” said Alex Bouzari, chairman and CEO.
“We’re privileged to have his guidance as DDN builds on recent momentum, and introduces new technologies, enters new markets and embarks on our next stage of our growth,” Bouzari added.
