biometricsEid Passport has been selected to continue its identity management work for the U.S. Navy’s access control system.

The company’s technology will be integrated into the Navy Commercial Access Control System for verifying the identity of contractors entering the Navy’s facilities, Eid Passport said Wednesday.

Steve Larson, Eid Passport chairman and CEO, said the company will work to bolster security across the Navy’s sites by using the RAPIDGate program.

Eid Passport unveiled the program in October for personal identity verification-interoperable credential services.
