IAI logoMichael P. Ronayne, director of Integrity Applications Inc.‘s operations in Dayton, Ohio, has joined a working group of industry representatives that will advise veterans on how to find civilian jobs.

The Veterans and Employers’ Connection working group, sponsored by the Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley, will also discuss hiring practices for long-term jobs in the Miami Valley, IAI announced Feb. 20.

“The unemployment rate for veterans in the Dayton region is just over 13 percent,” Ronayne said.

Initiatives will include one-on-one mentorship programs, job fairs, training on how to understand the needs of veterans and other projects intended to help veterans apply their skills and transition to the private sector.

IAI says that Goodwill Easter intends for the program to cover all veterans within a 23-county region in Ohio and parts of Indiana.
