Siemens has signed up to be the first founding industry partner of the Energy Management Association — a group of engineers, contractors, building owners, manufacturers, utilities and others that promote energy management and reduced consumption.
The partnership will be official at the association’s meeting during the the Cx Energy 2014 Conference & Expo on April 22, when the group will formally launch, the EMA announced Wednesday.
“Siemens is one of the best-known and respected brands in the field of energy management. Their involvement marks an important milestone for EMA as we bring together the best minds in the product and service sectors to advance the profession of energy management” said Andrew Heitman, EMA president.
EMA will also work to offer participants guidelines, training, education and certification programs.
