DynCorpLogoDynCorp International and its family of companies have hired nearly 10,000 veterans since 2011 in support of a program started by the White House in the same year.

The company announced Tuesday during the White House Joining Forces program’s third anniversary celebration that DynCorp has hired more than 2,000 veterans in 2013 and 9,725 since joining the program.

In 2014, DI received Victory Media’s Top Military-Friendly Employers list, Military Times’ 2014 list of Best for Vets employers and Vetrepreneur Magazine’s best defense companies for veteran-owned businesses.

The White House Joining Forces program is spearheaded by first lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden.
