CACI International has been awarded a position on a potential five-year contract vehicle to sustain electronic surveillance systems for the U.S. Navy‘s anti-terrorism and force protection programs.

The company is one of three contractors that will compete for work over three base years and potentially two option years under the Naval Electronic Surveillance Systems program, CACI said Monday.

CACI’s portion of the program is worth up to $71 million if the Navy exercises all options.

Ken Asbury, CACI president and CEO, said the company aims to help the federal government protect citizens, equipment and facilities through the program run by Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific.

Work will include lifecycle sustainment, integration, acquisition and technical services to SPAWAR’s security systems unit.

The Navy contract also calls for CACI to support AT/FP surveillance infrastructures at defense and other government agencies.
