Serco Inc. will compete for up to $77 million in task orders to help the U.S. Navy maintain electronic surveillance systems under a potential five-year contract vehicle.

The British contractor’s U.S. subsidiary is one of three awardees on the Naval Electronic Surveillance Systems vehicle, Serco said Monday.

Dan Allen, Serco Inc. chairman and CEO, said the subsidiary will apply its command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance experience to support the Navy.

Work will include acquisition, integration, life cycle sustainment and technical support for the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific’s communication and information systems.
