Pakistan Telecommunication Co. has selected SAP AG’s cloud computing technology to develop new human resource processes, Daily Times reported Friday.
PTCL will use SAP’s Success Factors talent management tools to centralize HR operations, according to the reports.
The technology comprises systems for employee profile and organization chart, visualization, goals and performance, succession and career development, compensation planning, learning management and recruiting, the report says.
Gergi Abboud, managing director of SAP in Gulf and Pakistan, said cloud computing is set to drive how companies perform business operations, reports Daily Times.
“PTCL understands this as we have now entered an era where CIO takes major technology decisions in collaboration with other CXOs,†Abboud added.
