SRI Int’l to Offer Biometrics Tech in UAE through Reseller emaratech; Mark Clifton Comments

SRI International has approved information technology and management consulting provider emaratech as a reseller of SRI’s biometrics offerings across the United Arab Emirates and Jordan.

Investment Corp. of Dubai-owned emaratech will market SRI’s Iris on the Move product line to clients in airport security, border patrol and related security applications, SRI said Wednesday.

Mark Clifton, vice president of products and services division at SRI International, said the company intends to combine its iris recognition products with emaratech’s installation and support services in order to help customers bolster their security infrastructure.

SRI’s biometric systems feature access control and identity authentication technologies.

“Evolving and increasingly complex security challenges require cutting-edge technologies that can be installed and deployed in diverse indoor and outdoor environments,” said Thani Alzaffin, director general and board member of emaratech.
