Boeing Co. has partnered with Italian military supplier Head Italia to develop cybersecurity tools intended to help customers secure their data and infrastructure.
Head Italia’s information technology professionals will work to contribute market insights and forge partnerships with defense and government sector customers in Italy, Boeing said Thursday.
Boeing will supply analytics tools, cybersecurity training, simulation platforms and network security services.
“The partnership with Head Italia will tailor our cybersecurity offering to the specific needs of the Italian market and will provide us with the necessary agility and customer intimacy to compete effectively in this important business,†said Antonio De Palmas, president of Boeing Italy.
“We will be able to enhance the work that Head Italia is already doing to protect Italy’s information security and critical infrastructure,†added Per Beith, director of Boeing’s information security services.
