DellLogo EbizDell has introduced a range of server products and service offerings intended to help enterprise customers manage computing workloads and infrastructures that run SAP HANA-based applications.

SAP has certified Dell’s PowerEdge rack servers to integrate with the HANA in-memory database and also approved Dell’s Compellent platform as a data storage system for HANA, Dell said Tuesday.

According to Dell, the PowerEdge R920 appliance now supports VMware vSphere and Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems in HANA-based production environments.

Dell also launched ZeroIMPACT Migration Services for SAP HANA with the aim of helping organizations update their legacy information technology systems as well as minimize downtime risk during the upgrade.

The Services Shop Floor platform is built to operate with SAP’s manufacturing apps and works to automate business processes via Dell tablets running Microsoft 365 and Windows 8.

Dell also offers IT services designed to help clients assess their organization’s existing SAP operations and develop a SAP modernization framework.
