Brent Harvey, a 23-year veteran at Parsons and former global business development director for its environment and infrastructure business, has been named the company’s manager of internal audit.
Harvey will oversee the management and operations of Parsons’ internal audit department out of the company’s office in Charlotte, North Carolina, Parsons said Thursday.
“Brent brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to his new role within Parsons and will make a valuable contribution to our internal audit function,” said Chuck Harrington, Parsons chairman and CEO.
During his tenure at the company, Harvey has experienced working on business development, corporate finance and project engineering and management.
He previously served aboard U.S. Navy nuclear submarines and under the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Directorate as a Naval officer, before moving to the private sector and joining Parsons.
