RMF Engineering has appointed Vince Jarrett, an engineering design professional for 17 years, as division manager of its new civil engineering team at the company’s office in Columbus, Ohio.
Jarrett will lead Gregory Albrecht, Matt Burgdorf and Stephen Whalen in providing civil, electrical and mechanical engineering and other services to RMF clients in Ohio, the company said.
“RMF has been rooted in the Ohio market for many years, and as we expand our presence here we’ve recognized the need to add civil engineering capabilities to support client demand for these services,” said Duane Pinnix, RMF president and chief executive officer.
As division manager, Jarrett will be in charge of his team’s projects with Ohio State University and other engineering design and construction management projects.
His previous work includes OSU’s Larkins Hall and the Ohio Reformatory for Women.
Albrecht is a construction administrator and field representative with at least three decades of construction supervision and inspection experience.
Burgdorf is a civil project assistant and landscape architect whose previous work includes the Alum Creek Trail I-670 in Columbus and Veterans Bridge in Springfield.
Whalen, a civil designer and construction project manager, handles topographical plans and profiles and provides CAD services.
