CSC and MWH Global have forged a partnership to develop integrated cybersecurity service offerings in an effort to help customers worldwide protect their critical infrastructure.

MWH will combine its water utility services with CSC-developed cybersecurity tools for detecting and mitigating cybersecurity intrusions on critical resources, MWH said Wednesday.

Phil Smith, vice president at MWH, said the partnership aims to help clients safeguard critical infrastructures such as ports, dams, canals, and water treatment and distribution systems.

“In partnering with MWH, the gold standard in water and natural resources infrastructure for almost 200 years, we’re providing a customized next-generation security solution that’s delivered in a trusted, integrated, and efficient manner,” said Tom Patterson, global managing partner for consulting at CSC Global Cybersecurity.

The team will collaborate with utilities and municipalities in securing water collection facilities, distribution and treatment systems and hydroelectric power sites.
