mcqueen_matt_smallMatt McQueen serves as sector director of strategic and external communications at Northrop Grumman‘s information systems sector, where he acts as the primary spokesperson and communications liaison to the sector’s external stakeholders.

He is also responsible for the sector’s integrated strategic communications campaigns, executive communications and media relations functions.

Prior to this role, McQueen held several leadership positions within Northrop such as corporate director of government relations, vice president and sector director of government and industry relations and director of market development and strategy.

In 2009, he received a gubernatorial appointment to serve as the consumer representative to Virginia’s Motor Vehicle Dealer Board.

McQueen is a 2011 graduate of LEAD VIRGINIA and serves on the board of directors of several industry and community organizations.

He holds a master’s degree in organizational science and management from George Washington University, where he was a graduate fellow in organizational management, and also holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the College of Wooster.
