RSA, the security division of EMC, has launched the RSA Advanced Security Operations Center Solution to combinee several technologies that are designed to help enterprises detect emerging threats and mitigate network breaches.
EMC said Tuesday that the suite integrates RSA Security Analytics, RSA ECAT, RSA Archer Security Operations Management and RSA Advanced Cyber Defense Practice training and services.
The platform works to facilitate security information and event management, endpoint threat detection and network forensics to bolster mitigation of cyberattacks.
Amit Yoran, RSA senior vice president, noted that a combination of these offerings aims to deliver “next-generation security” that meets both compliance and security needs.
Some of the features that the RSA Advanced SOC Solution intends to bring include log and network visibility, prioritized threat investigations based on metadata, native incident response, real-time and signature-independent investigation of suspected endpoint threats and scalability of implementation.
