Kindra Martone, formerly senior vice president of global sales and marketing at IO Data Centers, has joined CenturyLink as global VP of colocation sales as the company continues its global data center colocation services expansion push.
CenturyLink said Friday Martone will be responsible for directing the company’s international hosting and colocation market presence following its opening of a data center in Toronto.
David Meredith, SVP and global general manager of CenturyLink’s technology solutions segment, said the company’s services are targeted toward the Asian, European and North American markets.
Industry demand for hybrid IT, cloud and colocation services are among the factors that drive the company’s expansion activities, CenturyLink said.
Martone has at least 15 years of executive and sales leadership experience with technology companies, where she has led data center expansions in multiple international markets and established global distribution channels.
She has also previously held operations and sales management positions at Cisco.
