ThalesThales has received a contract to provide operational support for France’s Lyon international airport.

Lyon-Saint Exupery Airport will utilize the company’s Airport Operation Control Centre to help consolidate security and information technology systems, handle technical monitoring and carry out event management, Thales said Monday.

According to the company, the Aeroports de Lyon management, which announced the contract award along with plans to expand the airport, has picked Thales to manage both existing and new terminals.
