Alleace Gibbs, director of employee communications for the electronic systems business of Northrop Grumman, has been promoted to communications vice president in the company’s technical services sector.
The 16-year company veteran will develop and implement the group’s strategies for advertising, media relations, executive and employee communications and social media in her new position, Northrop said Monday.
She succeeds retiring David Apt and will also be a part of Northrop’s communications council.
“Alleace brings depth and breadth in domestic and international communications to this position, having led both internal and external communications functions within our electronic systems sector,” Darryl Fraser, corporate VP for communications at Northrop.
Gibbs also oversaw group communications programs as well as trade show and social media activities during her career with the company.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from Bowie State University and an MBA from Morgan State University.
