Cisco and Viscosity North America have teamed up to discuss how to move data and applications into Cisco’s unified computing system platform during a round table discussion on Oct. 22.
The team consists of Oracle ACE directors Charles Kim and Nitin Vengurlekar and Cisco’s Danny Dunn, who will investigate Viscosity’s approach for zero risk and zero downtime Oracle migrations, Viscosity said Wednesday.
The Oracle experts will also discuss the private database cloud, Oracle database migration and deployment options, provisioning of a multinode RAC cluster and configuring Oracle environments for the UCS hardware.
Viscosity provides database consultancy for Oracle software and hardware.
The round table will take place at Cisco Office, Dallas Office bout Viscosity.
