Deloitte_ExecutiveBizDeloitte will set up a crisis management center to consolidate its work to help clients prepare for and respond to threats, whether manmade or natural.

The Deloitte Center for Crisis Management will rely on its global network of services to create crisis simulations and crisis plans for all types of disruptions economic, technological, financial or political, the company said Tuesday.

Deloitte said the service will be available in three regions: Asia Pacific, the Americas and EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa).

Deloitte cited market reports that peg financial fraud and environmental disasters as costing reputational and revenue damages to businesses each year.

“Clients are operating in an increasingly challenging global environment where a single mega event or a combination of events can significantly disrupt an organization’s strategic objectives, reputation and/or existence,” said Jeremy Smith, Deloitte global crisis management leader.

“We are uniquely placed to help clients prepare for the full range of crises, and to respond immediately and effectively, and ultimately emerge stronger.”
