CA Technologies and VersionOne have integrated their project and portfolio management and Agile project management products to help clients develop, manage and monitor Agile and waterfall projects with a unified tool.
“In the application economy, it’s more critical than ever for IT organizations to have a consistent handle on their entire IT investment portfolio,” Yash Shah, senior vice president for product management and IT business management at CA, said Thursday.
The integrated CA and VersionOne tool works to prioritize investments through synchronized portfolio planning, financial and resource management, project definition and work item management.
Project plans flow from CA PPM to VersionOne, while project details flow back to CA PPM, the companies said.
