Drenda Harkins, formerly chief information officer for Arkansas’ division of medical services, has joined CSG Government Solutions healthcare and human services practice.
Harkins most recently led the state of Arkansas’ effort to modernize its Medicaid management information systems, CSG said Wednesday.
“She has successfully led large MMIS, ICD-10 code-set transition, and electronic health records implementations, providing her with an in-depth understanding of the challenges our clients are currently facing,” said Andrea Danes, director of CSG’s healthcare and human services practice.
Harkins brings more than 25 years of background in strategic planning and project management of large information technology systems to CSG.
