ITphoto1105 Media will not hold its 37-year old government technology FOSE trade show this year, 1105 Government Group Co-President Henry Allain has told GovLoop’s DorobekInsider.

The news was also reported by Jill Aitoro of the Washington Business Journal, who writes that many industry expos have seen reduced attendance by government contracting firms over the past few years.

Aitoro reports that some industry observers wondered if 1105 would try to sell the FOSE brand but that Allain’s statement to DorobekInsider suggests that will not happen.

More than 5,000 government and industry professionals registered to attend FOSE’s April forum and 1105 says that event saw a 25-percent increase in registrations by C-level executives.
